** EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY!
Bronwen Weber - Renowned, Award-Winning Cake Decorator
Bronwen Weber's stellar career in decorating arts, began as a small girl making mud pies on the playground.  At fourteen, she accepted her first job in a small bakery in Acton, Ontario, where she honed her skills and learned the business.  Bronwen moved to Texas and started to make a name for herself working in small, notable bakeries around the state.  For almost ten years, she worked in Randall's Food Market's bakeries; moving up from production employee to management, and finally as a trainer for cake decorators and bakery management. Bronwen has competed in eight Food Network Challenges earning 3 gold, 4 silver medals and a bronze, making her the most medalled competitor in the series.  As a past Pastry Chef Instructor at the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, Bronwen taught cake decorating, chocolate work, candy arts and sugar art to the school's students in the Patisserie and Baking program. She continues to teach nationally and internationally several times a year.  Bronwen is the basic skills columnist for American Cake Decorating Magazine.  Currently she is the Executive Chef and General Manager of Frosted Art Bakery & Studio in Dallas.
Bronwen will be conducting a "Fondant Sculpture Hands-on Workshop" on Saturday afternoon (at a bargain price for members), and a "Wedding Cake Demonstration with Question & Answers" on Sunday afternoon, where she will decorate one of her famous wedding cakes. Decorators should not miss out on the opportunity to watch and learn from this renowned decorator.
