Southeastern Retail
Bakers Association
has one
convention a year, and two or more workshops. We have an extensive and informative program, along
with an allied exhibit, and some type of decorating competition, at our
convention. The workshops are hands-on and are held in
different member's bakeries, rotating
throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. By attending the
workshops and convention you are not only given the opportunity to learn
new decorating & sales ideas, and to see new products and services,
but you get the chance to meet and form friendships with other people in
the baking industry. These people share a lot of the same problems,
concerns, and joys that you experience. Attending these events help
you be a better baker, decorator, manager, and/or
salesperson. |

For 2007 -
We had a great May convention in Jacksonville, Florida, with
over 350 people attend and 64 allied booths. There were two
workshops - one was in January, at Tiffany's Bakery in Columbia, SC, and
one in November, at the Sweet Shoppe in High Point, NC. Be sure
to check out the pictures from these events. |

Asheville page to learn more details about the convention. In January,
we had our first workshop at Tasty Pastry
Bakery in Tallahassee, FL. Pictures from this workshop are on that
web page. We are going to have another workshop June 22nd, at
Strossner's Bakery, in Greenville, SC. Look under "2008",
