SORRY IT IS TOO

2008

Dear
Prospective Exhibitor, |

Southeastern
Retail Bakers Association’s 2008 Convention will
be April 19th – 21st, in lovely Asheville, North
Carolina, with the Crowne Plaza Mountain Resort being the convention site.
This year, our schedule of events will change to comply with the
requests on our allied survey. Our
Allied Exhibit will be open on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 – 4:30 pm,
and on Sunday morning from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm.
Booths set up is on Saturday morning.
As usual, no program will be going on while the exhibits are open.
The events for the bakers will be workshops on Saturday morning,
program sessions on Sunday afternoon, and a group tour of the Biltmore
Estates on Monday morning. There
is going to be a group lunch on both days, a Saturday night President’s
Dinner (at which the allied exhibitors will be introduced), and a Sunday
night Awards Banquet.

SRBA’s
Board is working hard to make our 2008 Convention a huge success, and we
want your company to be a part of this great learning and fun
experience. We offer our
allied exhibitors maximum exposure by having the booths open on both
Saturday and Sunday, introducing them at the President’s Dinner,
offering FREE black and white advertisement in our convention
program, listing them on our website, and mentioning the exhibitors in our
newsletter. (The sooner the
contract & check is received, the more newsletters in which the
company’s name will appear.) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Our
booth cost is very reasonable, with no additional costs for carpet, 110
electricity. The cost of the 1st
booth is $700 for member and $850 for non-member (membership is $100);
additional booths are $500 each for members and non-members.
Each booth will be 8’ x 10’, include two 6’ skirted tables,
and have a 36” side & back drape.
If you will be using a backdrop and/or electricity, you must
mark it on the contract. (Booths
using a backdrop and/or electricity will be put on the outer perimeter of
our exhibit, in most cases.) All
booth workers will be FREE if registered in advance. |

SRBA
would love for each exhibitor to donate a “door prize” ($30 value) to
be given away, since bakers enjoy winning.
We ask that the gift not be product; save your product to give to
attending customers. (This
gift is not mandatory; it is by choice.)
Also, take advantage of the FREE advertisement in the convention
program by sending a B/W camera-ready ad (3” x 4”) to the above
address or email it in a “PDF” or “jpeg” copy to SRBASmith@aol.com
by March 17th. |

SRBA
hopes that your company will participate in this year’s convention and
that you and/or your salespeople will attend our food functions.
Food functions give the allied people an opportunity to interact
with the bakers in a casual atmosphere. The cost of the food functions is
exactly what the hotel charges us. Tickets need to be purchased on the Exhibitor’s Contract or
a Registration Form. |

|
|
|
Please
get your booth/s contract & check in early to take advantage of the
“Special Price Offer.” No
Booth will be assigned or held without a contract & check.
Don’t get left out of this exciting convention! If you have any questions, feel free to call Peggy at SRBA’s
office 803-407-5388. |
