ROLLED FONDANT WEDDING CAKES – Tiered Cakes   
(Covered in rolled fondant with any type of decoration.)


BUTTERCREAM WEDDING CAKES – Tiered Cakes   
(Iced in buttercream with any type of decoration.)

CUSTOM DESIGN CAKES -
Any Medium –
Cut-outs, Rolled Fondant, or Buttercream (Special cakes requiring time and experience for which you charge more money.)

NOVELTY CAKES FOR ANY OCCASIONS - Character, Ornament, Floral, etc. (Simple, standard decorating; NO shapes, sculpted, or tiers.)

* TORTES & CAKES
Layer Cakes and Tortes; each cake an entry  (Not layer cakes with Decorations.)

* DECORATED PETITE FOURS, CUPCAKES AND COOKIES
Plain or decorated, one or more varieties, and displayed on a try that will be judged as one entry.  Tray can not exceed 14" in diameter. (Provide formula & product will be sampled.)

* BAKED PASTRIES
Danish, sweet rolls, puff pastry, donuts, or sweet breads.  Each display considered one entry & can’t exceed 14"

When bakers get together to compete, you never know what great things you'll see and taste.  We have nine categories of competition at our Convention and the winning Bakery in each Category leaves with a trophy!  Look for the Convention announcement to get your ideas ready and remember - you have to transport it too!

Artisan or Plain Yeast Breads & Rolls

THEME CATEGORY –  WATCH FOR CONVENTION UPDATES
Any type of product related to theme- cake, pie, decorated cake, decorative bread, etc.



  • Please read the rules carefully prior to submitting your entry.  

  • Our display space is limited.  If a category specifies a dimension, please stick to the requirements.

  • If you are unsure whether something is qualified for a category, please contact the SRBA Office.
